Instead, here we are...23 days out and Gaza still exists
Yes, exactly. That's why he concludes with the same example: A society that suspends both kids when one of them slugs a bully is signing its own suicide note.
“I’m a woman, I love cats, but I’m not who he’s talking about here so I don’t take offense. Stereotypes nearly always have some truth to them. He brings up cat ladies, in the context of school bullying, as a very pointed example of how our society has become weak and unable to make moral distinctions as a result of people who, Quote, live in a tranquil bubble of affluent, frivolous safety and security created by their harder, worthier forebears who understood the world’s true nature.” I believe he uses the cat lady as a metaphor for essentially ALL the Left, men and women alike. Because ALL of them are the stereotypical cat lady.”
I just don’t agree with his stereotype here. It’s an insult to “real” cat ladies everywhere. I have observed and studied liberals/lefties for decades and trust me... if most of them were ‘cat ladies’ it would be several zillion steps up from what they actually “”are”” (more like Paris Hilton-type chihuahua carrying useful idiots), IMHO.
That said, I get what he was trying to say and I agree with most everything he stated ‘except’ for the cat lady metaphor.
