That was aerosolized fentanyl. The idea was to knock everyone out so they could take hostages alive.
Apparently they used too much and overdosed everyone.

People pissed and moaned when Putin used deadly gas to take out the Chechen terrorists in 2002 that took over the theater in Moscow, because hostages were killed along with the terrorists. But that's what happens in those kinds of situations. They forget about the Munich Olympics in 1972, and that every Israeli hostage was killed trying to rescue them from the Palestinian terrorists who held them.

This is nonsense. 1) Hamas is keeping hostages in the tunnels, 2) Biden is increasingly hostile to Israel, demanding a “humanitarian ceasefire” and “two-state solution” (surrender) “after the war”, etc. So very unlikely the Navy would be helping them.
