Late 1960s at my Junior High, we had some kid who had a heart attack on the court. Next year, they mandated a physical for kids participating in sports. Does happen.
When I was in junior high football, we had to have a physical and the doctor held my testicles and told me to cough.
Did you hear of this (kid having a heart attack on the court) repeatedly, throughout the country, throughout the year....in you late junior high/1960s years?

I know I didn’t ... even decades later.
I went to a massive public school (over 5,000 kids) and I never once heard of something like this happening. Although I do remember someone getting hit hard enough in a football game that they died.
