A woman is suing Chick-Fil-A for $50,000 after eating a black chicken nugget that left her vomiting until she had 'no strength left to do so'.
Shi'terra Sharp, 29, from Orange County, Florida, ordered a portion of chicken nuggets from a Chick-Fil-A in Brooksville.
She had already tucked in to her food when she realized that the chicken was 'black in color', according to court documents.
After consuming the suspicious meat, Sharp 'became violently ill, was nauseated, vomited until (she) had no strength left to do so, suffered from cramping, nausea and diarrhea, and sustained great injury to her mouth, throat, stomach and digestive system,' the lawsuit said.
The 29-year-old is now seeking $50,000 from the company, citing negligence.
Sharp told DailyMail.com: 'I was as sick as a dog. I lost so much weight due to what happened'.
She said she reached out to Chick-Fil-A in 2020 when it initially happened and the restaurant apparently claimed that there was nothing wrong with the meat.
The fast food giant claims their corporate purpose is 'to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A' - but Shi'terra Sharp did not feel the positive influence after becoming violently ill from her questionable nugget.
Sharp claimed that the went to hospital after eating the Chick-Fil-A nugget and was diagnosed with a gastrointestinal illness.
The lawsuit claimed Sharp 'sought treatment for her constant unrelenting abdominal pain and cramping, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, including, but not limited to hospital admissions at which time she was diagnosed with gastrointestinal illnesses.'
Sharp and her lawyer are suing Holland Hospitality in relation to the 'black' chicken nuggets for four counts of negligence.

I wonder if:
Shiterra has a history of making similar claims;
Shiterra has a history of gastrointestinal problems or lots of trips to the ER;
What else she had to eat that day;
anyone else has made complaints about “black chicken” at the restaurant in question. (Odd if only Shiterra got the prize...);
Physical evidence tested by the hospital?
Right. Why would you eat it?
Why would she eat the nugget after noticing it was black?
And since she ate the nugget, she really destroyed her own evidence.
And Chlamydia Jones.
What a dumbass. If she had seen a fried mouse in her order, would she have eaten that?
I volunteer to look for it.
lol!
She developed a case, tho, almost as ridiculous as her name. She needs to sue her mother for that.
Cluck diversity.
In spite of modern food handling regulations and inspections, this kind of thing happens from time to time, sometimes with severe, even lethal effects. If the woman was hospitalized or otherwise treated by a doctor, then her medical records will show (or refute) that food poisoning was involved and her account of how she got it.
Or wisely ate the lack of evidence?
