“Scalise needs to get out of the way. What a jerk.”

No less than Jordan. Scalise is the other possible candidate for the position. Why, if he is actually interested, would he support a rival for the position?

The two men are well liked in the conference and have portrayed themselves as unifiers, focused on border issues and spending.

I don’t like either one of them if they are going to continue to “make deals (unifiers) with the liberals as the liberals are not going to so the only way to make a deal for the conservatives is fold! Seen too much of that already. The need to get someone into the position that is going to push a conservative agenda right down the liberals’, and weak republicans,’ throats until they gag on it. Neither will do that and admits to it.

Scalia’s dropped out. He should just stay out instead of sour grape nonsense... Or whatever his problem is.
