You know, the asylum claims that about 98.5% of them don’t actually qualify for,

Really? I know many never show up, but I thought the claims for those who do were mainly rubber-stamped to stay forever.

Those poor migrants. After spending all their money and time to illegally enter our country. Then get free housing, phones and debit cards, now have to fill out a form every month?

Inhumane is what it is. I wouldn't blame them if they just went back home.

Boohoo.

Maybe they should go back where they came from where it’s cheaper to live.

That may well be true, but that doesn’t mean they actually qualify. You need to be subject to political, religious or I suppose other persecution. Being poor is NOT a ground for asylum. Statistically speaking, all of these people are economic migrants, and that absolutely does not qualify.

More specifically, this from USA.gov:

Able to demonstrate that you were persecuted or have a fear of persecution in your home country due to your:
Race
Religion
Nationality
Social group
Political opinion

So, us Freepers can apply for asylum? DJT could? You know dang sure that we would be persecuted because of our political opinions. DJT is already being persecuted for his.
