Jacqui Heinrich @JacquiHeinrich Follow NEWS: 3 sources with knowledge tell me the US has urged Israel to delay its ground operation in Gaza until safe passage for Palestinians can be secured – this is in line with previous messaging from the US, urging Israel to abide by the laws of armed
I think the Israelis will go into Gaza with the destruction of material infrastructure (tunnels etc.) in mind. Enemy and Israeli casualties will be incidental to that effort. The bad guys, who the Israelis want most, were never in Gaza or fled immediately after the attack. They’re not stupid. Some of the guys who did the “dirty” work might still be around, because they believe in that “72 virgins” B.S. The dummies, who voted-Hamas-in, will be making tracks southward, with the quickness. Maybe, the Israelis don’t have enough bombs to reduce Gaza to rubble. But, why do a “Fallujah” type operation when razing buildings will cost fewer IDF lives? And, you’re gonna give’m the land back anyway?
I heard Blinken speaking from Qatar that Hamas was blocking the roads to prevent the people from moving out.
Israel will give them safe passage... to hell.
I think a better place for them would be Afghanistan.
Give them twice as long as Hamas gave the innocent festival attendees.
(2*0....)
Hamas doesn’t want their human shields to escape to safety.
In an statement emailed to Politico shortly before Biden’s address, National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson said “we support Israel taking necessary and proportionate action to defend its country and protect its people.” (Italics added.)
Two days ago, Secretary of State Antony Blinken tweeted that he’d “encouraged” the Turkish foreign minister’s call for a cease-fire—then soon deleted the tweet, perhaps persuaded by colleagues that Israel needed not only to avenge Hamas’ murderous attacks but also to weaken or wipe out Hamas altogether.

Highly educated and successful, they ate not trusted by their fellow Arabs.
Trusted by anyone....absolutely not.
Highly educated and successful....where in the world did you get that information?
Safe passage means letting the terrorists escape. Potentially WITH hostages.
My read on the situation is that Israel knows that some Hamas will flee with the civilians. Israel’s goal is to get into Gaza city and the north Gaza generally and destroy the Hamas was machine - their weapons caches, their underground tunnels, their rocket making facilities etc. Israel will fight door to door if they meet resistance of course, which is why they want the civilians to get out of the way. But they fully expect most of Hamas to retreat with the civilians in some sort of attempt to regroup in the south - maybe to launch a counter-offensive while Israel operates in Gaza city environs.
Then, once the Hamas capacity to fight wars from Gaza City is severely compromised, they will demand the Palestinians bring them the Hamas leaders or they will hunt them down one by one. But first, to secure Israel and the safety of their own troops, they need to create a zone to operate from and destroy Hamas’ war infrastructure. Then they will probably turn to other parties in the attempt to negotiate a new governing entity for Gaza - probably the Palestinian Authority.
Just wait.
Biden will give them all asylum here.
Another million plus democrat votes.
Oh, if you are a US citizen trying to escape from Israel or that neighborhood, you will have to pay your own way out. Americans are not as deserving as the hundreds of thousands of unvetted Afghans or the illegal aliens crossing the border.
“Get out now,” he said, addressing Palestinians in Gaza. “Because we will operate everywhere.”
Those who are willing to leave are already leaving. Those who remain are doing Hamas's bidding. The current evacuation is only the northern 10 miles of the Gaza Strip. Delaying until Egypt agrees to take refugees means Israel is restrained indefinitely, or until Hamas gives the Ok.
Why Palestinians Are Known as the World’s “Best Educated Refugees”
In September 2018, a report from the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics found that Palestinians have one of the highest literacy rates in the world. The finding chimed with the Palestinians’ long-running reputation as the world’s “best-educated refugees” – a claim often made by international organizations as well as regional actors. Particularly but not exclusively in the Middle East, Palestinians have long had a reputation as high-performing graduates, often proficient in at least two languages, and frequently going on to pursue successful careers in engineering, business, or medicine. At the same time, the Palestinians are the world’s largest refugee population, with the longest-running case of protracted displacement. How did it happen, then, that a large-scale refugee population, many of whom survived for decades in refugee camps, became so highly educated?
The US government has proven to be the world’s authority at kicking the can down the road.
Control. It’s all about control.
The Minnesota 5th and the Michigan 12th congressional districts come to mind./s)
