I wouldn’t be too optimistic. On guns and religious freedom, the lower courts are just going to blow off the Supreme Court decisions en masse. There will be so many cases the Supreme Court can’t take them all.
The left is lawless. Ironically, Satan smoking a cigarette would be a great logo for left wing justices.
