Says he voted for Trump in the past, but has decided who to vote for next year.

Everybody knows that, without Trump's support, Garvey would never have won MVP back in 1974.

I don’t think Garvey is qualified for the job.

He has no experience fixing the games to make sure he won.

;-)

Steve Garvey is the best California could do, I’m thinking.

Only those over age 50 know who Garvey is and only those over 50 in LA and San Diego like him

At this point the chance of a Republican even finishing in the top 2 in the March primary is remote despite a supposedly split Democrat side of the ticket which has all sorts of Nazis running (Schiff, Porter, Lee, the new racist dyke incumbent, etc.)

That fact is pertinent because only the top 2 finishers in the jungle primary make the November ballot, under California law, and both will very likely be Democrats as has happened several times before.

Agreed. And I say this as a Giants fan. No GOP candidate last time made it past the jungle primary. I follow politics obsessively and I couldn’t have told you the name of any of the GOP senate candidates. Garvey’s star power is the best we can do, despite his history of personal relationships being very troubling and suggestive of dubious integrity, and I will support him enthusiastically

LOL

I don’t need a celebrity senator, but if the guy will be a solid Conservative, I hope he wins.

Democrats are the scum of the earth... they only win because they’re good liars. And the folks Democrats run will be monsters the press will have to cover for - just like the corrupt press covered for Joe Biden.

Nice to have Steve Garvey on our team.

Good grief, Garvey’s almost as old as me. Maybe Cal GOP can get Jon Voight to run for governor, or Bob Duvall.

This using former sports celebrities as political candidate thing hasn’t really worked all that well for the GOP.

Steve Garvey is the reason I QUIT watching Pro Sports, the media and presstitute corp savaged him for cheating on his Family Channel darling wife. Now it’s almost mandatory you are an adulterer, felon, gangster,... to play sports.

I expect those stories to begin coming out all over again, by tomorrow!!

Garvey should rejoin the Dodgers. They need all the help they can get. 😉

As a lifelong Giants fan I hated Steve Garvey.

That said, he would be light years better than shifty Schiff or pudgy Porter. Hopefully he can galvanize the GOP vote so that we don’t have to choose between two libtards in November

IOW, he’s looking at all the candidates, considering their views. He may vote for Trump or DeSantis or some other candidate. He’s checking them out and hasn’t decided yet.
