The Headline Is A Lie

It reads "an assault rifle" but the body of the story reads "an assault-style rifle." The two are completely unrelated entities.

An "assault rifle" is a select-fire rifle feeding from a detachable box magazine and chambered for a cartridge of intermediate power.

An "assault-style rifle" is whatever the demoncrat hoplophobes claim it is but no definition they yet have contrived included either the select fire or the intermediate cartridge qualifications.
