Stop it. This entire incident is on the dilettante Gaetz. All the Dems did was stay unified, which is something Gaetz has no idea how to do.

Unify with the dems and the Republicans acting like dems? You say that like it’s a bad thing.

You can defend the Democrat in Republican clothing all you’d like but McCarthy made a deal with the Democrats and for that he needs to go. He broke almost every promise he made to get the speaker ship at what point is your consequences for failing to live up to your word?

It is rather ironic that the Democrats chose to stab him in the back after making a behind the doors deal with him though. I get a chuckle out of that.

It would be great if the Republicans in congress were as unified and focused on a common goal as Democrats are. It would also be nice if Republican leadership wasn’t constantly going behind the backs of the rank and file to make deals with the Democrats. For the sake of “unity” should we tolerate and support such leaders? What are the principles and goals of the party and how can we possibly achieve them if leadership capitulates and helps the Democrats with only token resistance?

The Dems win because they are unified. Continuing to support leadership like McCarthy only provides the illusion of unity. Chaos hurts in the short term but long term we will never win so long as leadership is constantly undermining us.

NO you stop it!

McCarthy lied and cheated and is a dirt bag for his under the table dealing with Pelosi, So you blame Matt Gaetz? For what, telling the truth!

I take it that you tolerate leaders lying to the American public.

History will prove Matt Gaetz did the right thing.

McCarthy thought Pelosi was his safety net. He deserves whatever he got.

Kevin seems to be the one who had no idea how to keep his house unified.<> Anyone besides me wonder why the people's house is ruled by a king?
