acting Speaker Patrick McHenry ordered Nancy Pelosi to leave the special hideaway office she didn't relinquish following her party's defeat in the 2022 mid-terms.
What is a "special hidewaway office" and why do members of Congress need these? I mean, I get why the likes of Ted Kennedy and Barney Frank might have liked hideaway offices, but no one in Congress needs one.

Agreed. They all should live in same size apts and have same size offices. No specials for anyone.
