Prayers for someone to do the right thing only work if that person is willing to or open to doing the right.
There is not a single Federal Democrat politician that has shown any evidence of wanting to do the right thing. Quite the opposite, they are all in open rebellion to God and His laws.

I saw a video clip last night of a Tim Burchett interview. He said that once he told McCarthy that he was going to pray about something (he didn’t say what), and McCarthy strongly ridiculed him.
Maybe we need a Speaker who doesn’t hate Christians.
