There's NOBODY waiting in the wings. It's just as likely that some of these idiots, joined by Republicans from marginal districts, will end up electing Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker.
In the meantime, impeachment grinds to a halt. Nothing is being done to reduce spending. The border remains wide open with NOTHING being done to close it.
The drama of Matt Gaetz and his merry band of grandstanders will dominate the news cycle. The fake news mafia will gleefully use this as an excuse to run interference for the Democrats.

Seems to me, Trump has a pretty good history of endorsing RINOs that went on to take that endorsement and end their political careers after they were put in the spotlight.
