No, after Eugene, Portland itself: it is the biggest source of evil in the state. Hower, not the Portland you reference, it’s too far from home.,

A trip around Argentina or going by way of the Indian Ocean is a little much, global warming has not made the northern route sufficiently viable, and one wouldn’t want to be trapped in a canal.

(Gundog and I are alumni, and his dad eas one of the best teachers the school ever had).

I guess the end is near when even the rich are not safe from rampant crime.

The Left has achieved their goal of the death of the American Empire and proved the axiom that all empires fall from within.

in cali they’re loaded on grape shots...of the fermented version. that’s probably why they see pirates everywhere except in their leftist politicians. couldn’t happen to a more deserving crowd.

Hopefully the authorities are on the look out for the notorious pirate ship "The Raging Queen".

They're bad actors and the leader, Captain Ned runs a "tight" ship. Even his @hole crew fear him.

Now, men, I run a mans’ ship. I will run it in a manful and masculine way! I will tolerate no men under my command who act in such a way so as to discredit their manhood and manliness! Do I make myself clear?
Per crewman Miles Cowperthwaite;
"Our day began at dawn, where, after a hearty breakfast, we had punishment ’til lunchtime. After lunch, there was more punishment ’til dinner. After dinner, we would pull up anchor and sail for an hour, then drop anchor again for some verbal humiliation, followed by evening punishment."

Was DL the coach? Her trips were pretty notorious ‘78-‘79.

is there a word for “land pirates”?

Highwaymen. Bandit(o)s, if you like an ethnic flair...a favorite would be the worshippers of Kali that killed bloodlessly...the Thuggee from whence we derive the word “ thug.”

If I had to venture a guess, I’d say the “sea people” are coming in from Oakland on waverunners.

Yes, my whole time.

She in some ways ranks up there with Mr. K and your dad as teachers who had the biggest impact on my—but hers was spread over 8 semesters and was not because of superlative academic standards.

I believe my sophomore year she was heavily preagnant with her second, and after a rather risque and personal poetry presentation by someone directed at Deb, the whole class ended up singing an appropriate song from The Meaning of Life at the top of our lungs (we had done so a week or two previous during a trip).

Arnie, who was principal at the time, opened the door, we kept singing, he looked around, and shut the door. A good politician. If that is how the wife of the school board chairman (and future State Rep) chooses to control her class, who is he to judge? A good politician no wonder he ended up following Mike in the seat.

I understand that Brian Clem, who may have been a freshman in that class (possiblhy a year behind) is a state Senator.

Minnesota values.

Looks like he resigned from the HOR a couple of years ago to take care of his mom.

His mom was my high school counsellor. She was a lot more conservative than Brian turned out.

If the individual thefts are less than $950 then there are no crimes.

A pirate mob of five can aggregate theft of $5,000 with no jail
