Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., on Wednesday gave an impassioned argument that the U.S. government should take back Chinese-owned farmland.
The Pennsylvania Democrat spoke during a broader hearing by the Senate Agriculture Committee on foreign ownership in U.S. agriculture and its impact on food security and national security.
"I hope many of our colleagues agree, the Chinese government and other U.S. adversaries should own zero, zero agricultural land in our country, I believe that," Fetterman said. "They're taking back our pandas.! We should take back all of their farmland."

Yes, we should take back and retain our lands, but who the heck cares about Pandas to that degree? They are slovenly, smelly beasts, who sometimes devour their young out of boredom. Somebody may have spent too much time at Panda Express, and got the back story a little mixed up.

China is taking back China's pandas. China owns them, we do not. The existing agreement is expiring and not being renewed.

I think these photos are likely from some kind of “John Fetterman Look-Alike” contest.
And pandas have the teeth to eat meat, but rely primarily on bamboo. Bears are omnivorous, but usually eat mostly meat.
That’s one dumb bear.
