Putin Orders First Nationwide Nuclear Exercise to Simulate Attack from Outside Borders

One day before the United States conducts a major test of its emergency alert communications network, Russia will hold drills in the event of a major nuclear attack.

On Wednesday, the United States' Federal Emergency Management Agency will test its Integrated Public Alert and Warning System.

According to The Hill, the test will occur about 2:20 p.m. Eastern Time unless bad weather postpones it for a week. This will mark only the second time FEMA has tested its national alert system for cellphones, which will be accompanied by a test through radios and TVs.

In response to the FEMA test, Russia scheduled for Tuesday its drills due to the "growing danger of armed conflicts including [with] nuclear-capable powers near Russia's borders," according to Newsweek, which on Friday cited as its source the Baza Telegram channel, which Newsweek said is linked to Russia's security services.

The drills have never taken place at a national level before, Newsweek reported.

Putin may be able to see the dreaded Tsar Pushka (Tsar Cannon) from his office window.

It could be where he got his big balls.

“Putin Orders First Nationwide Nuclear Exercise to Simulate Attack from Outside Borders”

It’s starting. We’ll know that Russia is getting serious when they resume underground nuke testing and is VERY SERIOUS when they resume above-ground testing.

I’d say when underground testing starts, it’s time for us to begin work on our bomb shelters.

Did you ever think you’d live to see the day when the President of Russia is the sane one, and the “leaders” in DC, NATO, et al, are deranged warmongering psychopaths ?

Putin isn’t a warmonger? He invaded other countries several times already.

NEVER. I remember during the Cold War hearing a top Democrat say something like: “We fight Reagan on every dollar of military spending, so that he never thinks we’re strong enough to start World War 3.”

As with everything else regarding the Democrats, the above seems to be yet another case of PROJECTION.

What the heck! If the system will not work during bad weather, it probably won’t work during a nuke attack.

No, he is brighter than that. Since day one, our nuclear war SIOP has been that if we go on Russia, we go all out on Chinese cities at the same time.
Our Ukraine war screwed up the slightest chance at China and Russia not being aligned.

But it’s hard, nearly impossible, to imagine -any- US/Russia war that China manages to stay out of.

The Czar Bomba was a one off made in the 60s by the Soviets that cost a fortune. It was made so big because the accuracy of the delivery systems was so poor, they needed a big footprint to guarantee a destroyed target. They don’t make them anymore and have not since long before the Soviets fell.

The “mine’s bigger” game is just a game. Today, be afraid of how close they can target something worth hitting.

Over the many decades advances in delivery systems whether hypersonic or cruise missiles or ICBM/SLBM systems or stealth aircraft have made a much smaller warhead/warheads the most cost-effective nuclear weapon to produce and maintain, which in itself is a hard struggle.

He invaded other countries several times already.

How many times have NATO encroached on their borders and who started the Color Revolution in 2014?

“unless bad weather postpones it for a week”

If utilities elsewhere in the US are anything like here all Russia or China have to do is wait for it to rain and then attack because we will be in the dark and basic infrastructure cannot function.

Our technology has been superior to what the Russian and Chinese aligned nations have. Our military in the Vietnam and Iraqi Wars easily beat the Soviet equipped enemy, as did the Israelis in their 1967 and 1973 conflicts.

Nonetheless, our deindustrialization and the dreadful condition of American education stand in stark contrast with our adversaries. Both China and Russia are better equipped to sustain a long war than we are. Russia has been waging a World War I style conflict for 20 months, despite the contentions from the mockingbird press that they are on their last legs. Can we even produce the basic materials for waging war?

China turns out multiples of engineers to our own. Despite having half our population, Russia produces more engineers than we do. You cannot win wars on self-esteem and windy, tiring propaganda.

It’s not an either/or question. Invading Georgia, Crimea and Ukraine killing thousands doesn’t make Putin Mr nice guy

Crimea is Russian territory. Putin is liberating the Ukraine from a gang of globalist criminal oligarchs and other various and sundry degenerates, including actual Nazis.

The main thing is here is that this is all none of America’s business. If Europe wants to involve itself, fine. But keep us out of it. And NATO needs to be dismantled. If folks here are so concerned for the most corrupt state in Europe (The Ukraine) and its 32-year old “sacrosanct borders”, they can board the next plane to Kiev and go fight.
