Obstructing the business of Congress. Attempting to prevent a legitimate vote on a critical issue. Sounds like an insurrection to me.
I can see that. In light of where we are now with political persecutions.
You know, any interruption in the certification of the election process would have simply delayed certification with no consequence other than the missing of an arbitrary deadline. Inauguration would still have occurred on January 21.
In this case deadline for government shutdown/default was mere hours away.
Which should be considered more egregious?
