I do not understand politicians and other government officials who cling to their offices until death and until well after they are mentally and physically able to handle the demands of the job. This does not serve the people well and was certainly not the intention of our Founding Fathers.
Agree. It appears DiFi didn’t have anything else in her life to keep her occupied. So she clutched onto her senior U.S. Senate position until the bitter end.
There’s a lot of money to be made as a U.S. Senator. That’s why they hang on until they croak. Unfortunately, that money is useless to her now.
