From the reports of his conduct before the desertion, he sounds like he has some serious mental issues. He had a very unusual experience in North Korea, but I doubt if he’ll be able to talk about it in and comprehensible way. That’s why they let him go.

He’ll get an ‘other than honorable’ discharge and dumped on the street in front of his momma’s house.
At this point the only positive result is to just make him go away asap.

You have to be completely nuts to “escape” INTO North Korea. It’s probably simplest to discharge him

Eddie Slovic was executed for much less than what this cowardly democRAT hero has done.

I am laughing so hard at this guy.
He is so worthless that the North Koreans couldn’t even use him for PR value.
The Bidog administration didn’t have to trade anything to get him back. The Chinese didn’t want him either.
There was a black soldier who defected in the Korean war and they made him a citizen, he married a N. Korean woman and spent the rest of his life there.

If the Biden Administration opts not to punish him they can use that notion IMHO.

How much money did Brandon handed to North Korea to secure his release?Amazingly, nothing.
The North Koreans didn't want him. He was too useless for even a trade.

Any chance he gets a hero’s welcome here like that P-3 crew that landed their top-of-the-line plane in China.
