At this point I don’t want immigration from europe because what we would get is all the pissed off africans and muslims who would be kicked out of europe. That european experience would create attitudes similar to what the holocaust created among american jews after WWII. The chances of the USA surviving are getting slimmer. The US would not survive a mass exodus of middle easterners and africans from Europe—to the USA

I am well aware of the prevailing attitude toward the US, but to me a sensible number of immigrants would be in the low 10’s of thousands. You don’t think there are that number of Europeans who would have wanted to escape the socialist Europe in the 60’s and 70’s? Of course, the attraction is less now, but I am thinking more of the immigration policy we could have had, not the one Ted Kennedy stuck us with in 1965.

My nephew ran for congress as a republican from Illinois and his dad and I had many talks why all these high earners vote democrat. "Dr Watson's statements are reprehensible, unsupported by science," the laboratory said in a statement, adding that they effectively reverse his apology.
