Nobody should ask him to stand down until he has been convicted. I know the guy is a sleeze ball, and I know he’s probably guilty, but as an American, he is entitled to the assumption of innocence until proven guilty.

That America is long-dead. Do you think you would get that presumption? Look at the J6 prisoners. Did they get that presumption?

That’s the point I’m trying to make. If they can get Republicans shouting like Roman masses, then we can’t shame democrats for destroying our Justice system. Yes he should leave the committee he chairs but he should not give up his seat until convicted.

It’s New Jersey FGS, what do you think they will replace him with? We would lose on two fronts.
