Why announce this now. It will motivate more illegals to vote. And they will vote every which way they can and as many times as possible.
Maybe it will motivate them to self-deport so they have a chance to take their ill-gotten gains back with them. Under a new “operation wetback”, they’ll forfeit every asset they’ve accumulated while in country.
It probably will garner even more legal immigrant votes. Legal immigrants do not like the cheaters who walked in and did not wait in line to enter legally.
