There are more than a half-dozen monuments on city property honoring slave-holder Washington, also America’s first president and revolutionary hero.
Peter Stuyvesant, a Dutch governor, early New York settler and a slaveholder, has a statue in Stuyvesant Park, and prestigious Stuyvesant High School is named after him.
All to be replaced by statues of George Floyd!
Someone ought to propose a statue of Joe Biden, the lover of immigrants - absurdity with absurdity.

All of this is the result of conservatives fleeing the cities for decades ago. We abandoned the cities and now those left simply want statues of people they care about put up, and we are not there to get a vote.
