Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO), the chief GOP opponent of opening an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, has changed his mind, stating on Tuesday it is a “good idea” to launch an inquiry into the president.
Buck told NBC News the inquiry is a good idea because it removes a “distraction” and permits the House to focus on the next spending fight. He also noted that “nothing changes,” as House Republicans were already investigating the Biden family.
When asked how he explained changing his mind to support the inquiry, Buck told NBC News he asked to review the powerful allegations compiled by the investigators.

He probably saw what side Mitt Romney was on, and wanted to be on the same side.
This dude is a worthless p*ssy. He is why the party is where it is.
The GOP Swamp has decided this is how they can avoid attacking the various prosecution efforts against Trump. It gives them something else to talk about.
It will fool no one. They will be gutted in their next primary. And if they get the nomination, stay home or vote Dem.
DESTRUCTION OF THE SWAMP IS EVERYTHING.
Just hold your wet spindly finger up in the air a**hole
If I had to gander a guess, I would say that the Uniparty wants Joe Bidon gone and have decided impeachment is a good way to get that done.
They aren’t doing this because it’s right to do.
I'll stipulate that he's a completely worthless POS.
He's also one vote in the HoR.
Would you rather that he be "strong" and "stand his ground" against impeaching Biden?

Until the tide turned, he was out last week proudly displaying his Biden Harris kneepads. Do you think you’re gonna win any wars with anybody who puts his finger in the air every morning to see which direction the wind is blowing?
Yup, a real profile in courage.
“If I had to gander a guess, I would say that the Uniparty wants Joe Bidon gone and have decided impeachment is a good way to get that done.”
Yes I’m quite sure that’s part of the calculation.
Do you really think he will vote to impeach? He will stick his finger in the air and see what the Democrats want and that’s how he will vote. I’m sorry this guy is no hero, He is a POS. And the bottom line is that’s why we are where we are at as a country now.
Biden will stick around until Obama tells him it is time to step aside.Republicans should take this investigation very slow and let Obama sweat.
Flakier than dandruff on Jeff Flake’s jacket.
Why hasn’t Barry officially come out of the cl0set yet? His ardent supporters can’t wait.
What is wrong with you FReepers? Buck is now saying he supports the investigation.
Sometimes I think you are knee-jerk a$$holes.
Is this jerk still praising the FBI ?
“Is this jerk still praising the FBI?”
Oh have no fear, he’ll soon change positions on that too.
He is waiting until the Democrats need a huge media distraction.
Would you rather that he be “strong” and “stand his ground” against impeaching Biden?
What Ken Buck does or does not do is completely unimportant.
Without a follow-up plan, it does not matter whether the House passes a vote to impeach Biden. Biden is certain to be acquitted by the Senate regardless of what case can be made against him. The whole point of an impeachment would be to make that case to the general public, then exploit the results.
A follow-up plan for the doomed impeachment action would be to orchestrate public resentment against the Democrats in the Senate and the House and win a decisive majority in both bodies from the next elections. Biden and his allies must be portrayed as criminals who are brazenly stealing from everybody while under protection of the Democrat party.
Which is a pretty truthful summary. Propaganda always works better when it is based on truth.
The marketing line would be based upon a steadily deteriorating economy as a source of the resentment and buckets of blame flung at the Democrats for obstructing the removal of people who are causing that deterioration. No mercy can be shown to any prominent Democrat.
Republicans who repent from their previous "moderate" positions can be soothed with assurances that they can keep their phony baloney jobs after the Democrats are purged. Those assurances might even turn out to be true. It is important to offer hope.
They can also be threatened with the prospects that the Democrats do not really need "moderate" Republicans anymore and will dump their Republican allies whenever they get the chance. The old game where the Republicans take leftover scraps from the Democrat grifting table is coming to an end one way or another. The Democrats mean to take it all.
And nobody is going to vote for a Republican who acts like an imitation Democrat. If votes even matter, people will vote for the real Democrat every time.
It would be a remarkably ugly campaign and would need ruthless leaders to succeed. I don't see them anywhere. But if they do show up, they will win.
