Ron, like Nikki, has no job, so he should be able to visit everyone’s home and every county, across Iowa, and wrap this up, in no time.

Good discussion. I think this is for DeSantis to win. He’s not going around criticizing the Iowa governor, he’s out there campaigning, he enacted in Florida a fairly strict pro-life law that Trump criticized, and more. Consider that Trump got roundly booed today at the football game, though that was likely college students.

Ron had better realize that September is prime “hurricane season” and stay where his bread is buttered.

Yawn.

Trump will be the nominee, when it’s all said and done receiving well over 60% of the votes cast.

DeSantis and establishment Republicans like Haley, Christie, and even Pence will do better than the polls suggest, but nobody will beat Trump. Trump would crush everyone if Iowa was just voting instead of caucuses.

Bob Vander Plaats is a cheap labor express phony.

In 2018, he published an opinion piece in The New York Times titled “Cruelty at the Border Is Not Justice” in which he characterized the Trump administration family separation policy as “unconscionable” and “inexcusable.

I think this guy’s loves being king maker. I disagree with Trump about keeping Iowa first for this reason. It’s all shenanigans in Iowa Santorum, Cruz. Neither od them came anywhere near the nomination but because of Iowa they got to drag it on. He’s right in that Iowa is the Deep States only real hope. Haley will start getting some of the Desanctimonius money though. I think that will ultimately help Trump. Are the so called evangelicals aware that she thinks that Jesus Christ was lying when he claimed to be the way the truth and the life?

DeSantis had a good chance to win Iowa this spring until his PACs started attacking Trump. The large Trump 2024 signs have started to appear in rural areas. The FJB flags have been flying in the small towns since 2021. Trump was booed in Ames because its a college town and controlled by the far left.
Map is the 2020 Prez election. You see those blue blocks? Those are the areas where the democrats lives, where the black ghettos are, and where you are most likely to be a victim of violent crime. They are also the areas where your tires are likely to be slashed if you have a Republican bumper sticker. AMES is in the middle blue block, so Trump being booed there isn't surprising.

Vander Platts is like a white Jesse Jackson. He’s not even a pastor. He is an ex-high school accounting teacher who quit teaching for the far more profitable profession of grifting.

We’ll see. DeSantis is working to win Iowa and he’s not going around dissing Kim Reynolds. And unlike Trump, he’s on the same page as Iowa Republicans regarding abortion. Time will tell if his ‘full Grassley’ works.

Trump did not get roundly booed. I was there.

Kim Reynolds handled covid better than DeSantis...and I was a huge supporter of hers for that reason.

She was instrumental in getting school choice passed...she endorsed challengers to high-ranking IA senators who were blocking the passage...and she succeeded.

She has made a huge mistake in assuming that her support of DeSantis will have the same weight. She is now also supporting the eminent domain taking of privately owned farm ground for a “carbon capture” pipeline because the guy doing it is a large donor. That project also has ties to Chinese investors. So there’s that

You will be pleasantly surprised by the truth. I was there. Even in the college town, he was swarmed by supporters.

There were about 6 people who flipped him off..lol. Mostly chants of USA!
