Jacob Chansley, known as the "QAnon Shaman," claimed the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) knew that an alleged Ukrainian spy participated in the riot at the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Chansley, who was sentenced to 41 months in prison over his involvement in the January 6 riot but was released earlier this year, said in an interview with conservative activist Laura Loomer that the FBI questioned him about the presence of Sergai Dybynyn, an alleged Ukrainian spy with reported ties to the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion, which has risen to prominence amid the Russia-Ukraine war.
The FBI has not confirmed Chansley's statement, which could not be independently verified. When reached by Newsweek, the FBI declined to comment.

I find it interesting that a ‘conservative QAnon Trump supporter’ could just meander around those activities and not a scratch. Not bothered one bit.
On 06Jan there is a photo of him, in a hallway in the Capitol, with two other guys. Apparently, the other two were identified as well known ANTIFA members. Yet, nothing is said or questioned.
Yet suburban housewives are accosted, beaten and pelted with eggs for showing up at a rally somewhere.
He’s only the QAnon Shaman supporter of Pres Trump because the media has told you that what he is.

Apparently this has come as a surprise to the FBI who had no knowledge of this person, this picture and doesn't even know how many of their own were at the Capital that day.

I believe your recall is 100% correct. The guy is an opportunist. I doubt he even really cares about politics. There’s something else about Jan 6 that’s not really discussed. Have you ever watched the video of Ashley Babbit getting shot? I have serious doubts that the people around her are really Trump supporters. They look way more likely to be antifa.
