The School Board was elected by parents that reside in Indian River County. If they want their children to read and kook at pornography in school. So be It. If they do not want their children reading and looking at pornography Do not reelect these school board members. We have a very sensible law now down here. If the book cannot be read at school board meetings because members are offended at the theme or language it is deemed inappropriate for children and must be removed.
That is why I don’t want DeSantis to be running for President r to be president. We need him down her. It does not matter who the Republican candidate is the election system belongs to the Democrats and their candidate will “win” probably with some absurd ration of “votes.” The Republic is gone. It is up to State governors and citizens to begin to wall off the remaining rational States from the Federal government as much as possible. A big start would be refusing refusable federal funds for anything at all.

Indian River County has voted for the Republican Presidential candidate in every election since 1944, even in the Goldwater debacle in 1964. In 2020, Trump carried the county by 21 percentage points. The political scene in Indian River County is clearly conservative. There appear to be numerous evangelical and Catholic private schools in the county, which tend to attract the most conservative parents. The main problem is that the Republican voters do not pay much attention to local politics, resulting in leftists, sometimes stealth liberals, taking positions on school boards and city councils.
They are elected ... most voters stay home ...
