Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s freeze-up was the 2nd time the veteran GOP senator was unable to speak while holding a press conference.

My mother was the secretary of the House Ways and Means Committee up to the beginning of WWII. As a youth, I heard her remark that the Senate was an "Old Boys Club" where everyone scratched each others' backs. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.
