CFW makes an excellent point: when did NARA gain so much power in our government? The archivist is not an elected position and should not be allowed such power with no oversight by the voters.

All Obama/Biden-era bureaucratic agencies have been given too much power. Congress should take away some of that power that they so obsessively abuse. Or as an alternative, SCOTUS should overturn the Chevron doctrine.
