Any sane person does. In 2016 they hoped Trump would win rather than deranged neocon Hillary. However, like everyone else, they -expected- Hillary to win. They were hoping for trade, and no more wars. If Hillary won, they thought could exploit her bribery and survive it. Hillary called for shooting down Russian jets in Syria and establishing a no fly zone.
So they did nothing to help Trump, because with the expected Hillary win, they would face 8 years of revenge hell from the old evil sow. They were not involved in ANY of the dossier hoaxes or DNC “hacks”.
A couple of private click farms posted memes to make a few bucks, but their government stayed out of it and hoped for the best while expecting the worst.
When our “intelligence” (sic) communities were faced with the obvious lunacy of claiming Russia supported Trump, but simultaneously were putting it out that Russian hookers were pissing on his bed... they had to scramble. That is where we got the “spread discord in America” story.
The bottom line. Every sane nation wanted what Trump offered. No wars, trade, and seeking friendly relations. Hillary and our intelligence agencies created this Russia crap right in their own offices. Steele typed the dossier right in his office and there was no “source” with the possible exception of Skirpol who was poisoned with fentanyl by the Brits who called it nerve gas.
The damage of the “Russia” lie is incalculable. It convinced Russia that relations with US were beyond repair due to the massive dishonesty, and deliberate lying accusations out of DC. So we got a war, hundreds of thousands of people dead, trillions wasted, the destruction of the US dollar, hundreds of American J6 political prisoners, and god knows what else.
Pure evil and I hope she chokes on a hot dog while her grandkids are watching.
