Julie more than likely voted for the very people that triggered the events that have led to what is now the cesspool that used to be San Francisco.

I’m glad I went there in the 80s......and even back then I could see the direction it was headed in.

Was there in the late '70s. Stayed in Oakland. Didn't have any problems and both places were pretty much like any city at the time. Big, noisy, sorta crowded but no one passed out on the sidewalks and crime didn't appear to be an open issue. Didn't notice anything that got the sixth sense up. Occasionally you saw some guy that looked gay but that was about it.
