Reagan was appropriate for his time in office, but Trump is the person in these times. So, the author is missing that the "Herschel Walker" is available, and he needs to get behind Trump.

Reagan made some mistakes as well, but like Trump Reagan was vilified by the press & his detractors. Herschel Walker is.

I loved Reagan, but that was a past era. Nothing like now.

There is no other Reagan, there is no other Rush Limbaugh or Donald Trump.

Reagan won one of the greatest landslides in US history, winning 49 states and close to 60% of the popular vote in 1984. He won the Cold War, resurrected the US economy, and curb-stomped liberals for a generation.

I can pretty much refute all of that, he really accomplished very little.

But I will let David Stockman show the true record we had under Trump as far as finances are concerned. The inflation we have now is a direct result of Trump’s spending and the second round of inflation is on Joe Biden. Trump’s economy was an illusion based on money printing and nothing more.

I will not vote for him this time around, he is offering nothing and is running as a persecuted martyr and nothing else.

Make no mistake, if Reagan were alive and running for office today, the democrats would have him indicted, and the GOPe would be lining up with them.

I don't buy it!

I was there when Reagan rode into town on a white horse and saved our arse from the likes of Jimma.

The situation changed almost overnight. The mood improved, and there was real hope about how great we were -- even if maybe we weren't.

The press tried, and they tried hard to destroy him. It was like Reagan had an invisible shield around him, and the attacks just ricocheted into nothingness.

The press couldn't penetrate the force. So, the politicians who were guided by and took strength from TV and newspapers didn't have the force of an effective press to lead with results. No way was the political class going to step out and impeach a president with such high ratings.

Reagan was unique and was not one bit intimidated. He didn't tweet every minute, and he just communicated in a calm, non-threatening way like a velvet hammer -- not a sledgehammer.
