With an increase in margins like that they can probably absorb some shrink

So you are saying they can tolerate theft because you think their prices have gone up to much. How much theft can you absorb?
To be fair to Dollar Tree, they had prices for $1 a lot longer than I expected. I’m surprised they took as long as they did to raise to $1.25.
