I was in London and Paris for the last two weeks in June 2023.
London was busy and dirty. Trash pickup was slow and piled up, but overall, it was a nice place.
Paris was an absolute mess. Graffiti was EVERYWHERE. Even the monuments and attractions were poorly kept. The Palace of Versailles was comparable to my tool shed out back.
I am in London right now. Poor trash pickup and street cleaning, graffiti everywhere. Lots of Muslims. The Muslim mayor days ago featured a pic on his website of a white family with the caption not real Londoners (or something along those lines). As in the U.S., western Europe is taking the knee in submission.
