a hefty rough sleeping population

???????????

[Sounds like leftist terminology to make a bad situation -- they created themselves -- sound more palatable.]

So the headline of the thread was wrong.

Must be like the many references to suburbs of Detroit vs the decrepit City of Detroit. The Detroit Metropolitan airport is in Romulus. The Detroit Zoo is in Royal Oak. All the major “Detroit” radio stations are in Oakland County. Except WJR.
And the City of East Detroit (a suburb) changed its name officially to Eastpointe to avoid the nasty word.

Standard British term.

Not too surprising to see it in British media, is it?

You need to get out more.

...is to put the result of their messed up policies right on their front porch over and over again until they change!

Remember to light the bag before pressing the doorbell. Heh-heh!

A couple bags of gas tossed on the roof and a bottle rocket would keep those homeless people from moving in. That was my thought when I started reading this article.

The California version of “Where’s Waldo”

Where is the conservative in this crowd? Hell, where is the liberal CA Republican?

I can not bring myself to care about what happens to these people. The destruction of the country by illegals and homeless druggies is a foregone conclusion. My hope is that I get the pleasure of seeing the “sanctuary cities” in flames before the nightmare gets to me.

I would give a month’s paycheck to see a hotel for illegals and “homeless” erected in the middle of my BIL’s gated community in Florida. Cosmic justice.

What this does is expose these migrants to American socialism at the onset of their new settlement here. The word will go out that American socialism is the best there is and encourage more to come here. It also ensures that the Democrat Socialist have imported a new voter base they can depend upon in 2024. Expect the illegal voter registration effort to gear up soon.

I was born in Milbrae in 1952. Recently I did a Google street view of that house. It is NOT what I would call an affluent neighborhood. I assume it is not the neighborhood referred to in this story. OTOH, housing costs what they are, maybe a working class street is considered affluent.

My neighborhood in small town Kentucky looks much, much nicer and it is not labeled “affluent”. Just middle class.

“rough sleepers”

New PC name for the homeless.
A democrat is in office so the MSM has to sanitize the homeless situation therefore there are no homeless just “rough sleepers.”

Millbrae is where you get off BART if you want to go to SF International Airport. It is not a SF neighborhood but could be called a suburb.
