Balboa Island and Newport Harbor are Red (as in Red State). On Independence Day, I went there to watch a boat parade, and many of the boats were flying Trump and MAGA flags.

When hardline Muslims take over an area, the first thing they do is deface or obliterate any competing cultural or religious sites. The same thing happens with totalitarian regimes.
