I want the billions Biden sent to the Ukraine to be used to build a wall on the southern border, where there's an 800x increase in illegals from China flooding into the US. So, we should expect more wars of liberation of ethnic Russians in neighboring countries? Poor Russia! Somehow, the lands of the biggest empire on the planet were stolen by its neighbors and need liberating. What country in Europe does not have ethnic minorities in neighboring countries? The wars would never end if that was a legitimate reason to invade a neighbor.

Russia is no longer communist. Actually they seem more socially conservative than the Democratic Party in the USA.
I agree neither is perfect but I think both sides have valid points. Russia doesn’t want NATO expansion to the point it almost surrounds them (at least their most important region) and Ukraine has a right to defend their border, unlike the US apparently.
Now we can argue a lot of details like was the 2014 coup that put Zelensky in power staged by western deep state under Obama? or is Putin using NATO expansion as a frivolous excuse so he can conqueror the world?
Which is why I’m neutral but honestly as I’ve watched Biden and Hunter revelations on how they made money in Ukraine—traded favors as a VP etc I’m less critical of Russia than I would have been.
