Russian fighter jet crashes in Kaliningrad, killing two pilots

Russia loses yet another fighter jet during a training exercise, as Ukraine strikes the Kerch bridge yet again.
A Su-30 fighter jet crashed during a training flight on Saturday in Russia's Kaliningrad region, killing the two pilots on board, RIA news agency quoted the Defense Ministry as saying.
"The Su-30 aircraft crashed in a deserted area. The flight was being carried out without ammunition. The crew of the aircraft died," the ministry said in a statement cited by RIA.
It said the likely cause of the crash was a technical malfunction but gave no further information.

In the video the plane makes a fast low pass and then goes into a very abrupt maneuver before starting to crash. Possibly the hot shot pilot blacked himself out.

Kalingrad. How did they end up with that sliver of land.They wanted Lithuania to annex Kaliningrad but they said no because all the Russians were living in Kaliningrad so the Oblast remained part of Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

and this is just the early stages of the drone war, when the Ukrainians are still working out the bugs ...
wait till they get everything working right this winter, then it will be open season on Russian oil refineries, electrical plants, bridges, railway yards etc.
think of it as bringing the war to the Russian homeland LOL

Every time the neo-soviets are losing military equipment, it’s one more step towards peace.
Likewise, every time Ukraine gets more military equipment, it’s one more step towards peace.
Generally speaking Russia lost the war on the very first week of it’s botched invasion, when they had to retreat from their attack on Kiev and two other major regions in Ukraine.
Actually if we look from the beginning of this Russian mess, Ukraine has managed to retake about 52% of what Russia originally took. Not bad for a small country like Ukraine against supposedly the worlds 2nd military superpower.
Also, Königsberg will sooner or later come back to the West.
