The federal judge overseeing the election conspiracy case against Donald Trump has agreed with his defense on a looser version of a protective order for evidence in the case
Chutkan rejected prosecutors’ broader protective order proposal that sought to prevent the public airing of all evidence they hand over to Trump’s defense as they prepare for trial. She instead seemed poised to impose a more limited protective order that would bar the public release only of materials deemed “sensitive,” such as grand jury materials.

And yet, it has been the prosecutor who has repeatedly leaked grand jury materials to major media. The Trump team should have made the “judge” aware of the prosecutor’s behavior and required penalties for further news stories

Trump’s lawyer needs to ask the court if any constitutional protections are going to be afforded to his client or if he should just expect to be railroaded with no protection whatsoever. Seriously, is this just intended to be a show trial?

Exactly. I don’t think Trump leaked any evidence, just made some statements regarding it. They were more leaks from the prosecutor side.
My understanding is that this judge worked for BSF and represented Fusion GPS while she was there. She recused herself previously on something Trump related. Why has she not recused herself already on this?
She was too afraid to shut trump down entirely....If leaked papers suddenly showed up in the NYT and everybody would know the enemy handed them out...That would make her look bad...I doubt she wants to shut down trump’s would be executioners......
Trump should not do this. Its exactly what they want. He should take freedom of speech in a general election quickly to supreme court every time and as often as he can. They want to control what he can say. That is the whole point of the trials.

People need to understand that the judiciary and legal system is mostly under their control right now. We may have the Supreme Court, but they have control over the DAs, the trial lawyers, and much of the local and federal district courts. The days of impartial legal proceedings are over.
