Why are they limiting it to sugary soft drinks? Ever had one of those overly sweet Starbucks drinks? Kids start drinking them at an early age.

I wonder whether the data controlled for alcohol consumption.

I remember when they told us that coffee was going to kill us.
That was about two weeks after they told us a cup a day was good for us..

Total BS.
It would be impossible to complete an effective study of such without doing it in a non-Western country not saddled by the effects of SAD.
That stated, there are differences between sweeteners, and I’m not clicking to a bogus study to find out if they analyze said differences (doubtful).

I wonder whether the data controlled for alcohol consumption. My guess is that there is an even higher R-squared of liver disease with cats and cardbordeaux feminism than with drinking Pepsi.

Given how few cases there actually were, if they didn’t control for alcohol consumption, that could have done it.

I live on Coca Cola-—full strength. Also whole milk. Am 83.
Used to drink RC Cola..same deal.
With the heat we have been having & working OUTSIDE to remove a forest of Russian Thistles (Tumbleweeds), I had had to add Powerade so I can stay hydrated.
