House Speaker Kevin McCarthy isn't ruling out a House impeachment of President Joe Biden, and is demanding Biden family members come forward to prove their innocence.
Appearing on Fox News opinion host Sean Hannity's program Monday night, McCarthy called on Biden to 'give us his bank statements,' days after former Hunter Biden business partner Devon Archer testified about their international business dealings.
'I think there's enough proof out there that this Biden family needs to come forward and show there wasn't a pay to play,' McCarthy said, echoing corruption charges being leveled by House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.).
Hinting at impeachment, at a time rank-and-file Republicans are filing resolutions and plotting probes, he said, 'We will take it wherever it [goes], and if it rises to the level, we will do our constitutional duties.'
'And this is the part I want America to know: America has a right to know if there was pay to play. America has a right to know if Garland is lying to them,' he said, of Attorney General Merrick Garland, who appointed special counsel Jack Smith to probe former President Donald Trump, and kept on a U.S. attorney from Delaware to probe Hunter Biden.
'This isn’t about Hunter Biden,' McCarthy said of the president's son, who is the subject of House Republican panel chairmen even while he tries to salvage a guilty plea in federal court over tax and gun issues.

Dumbass McCarthy - you don’t ask the accused to prove they are innocent, they already have that presumption. You investigate and charge them - or you shut up about it. Get your thumb out of your butt and do one or the other.

As if the Bidens put their billions of graft and bribe money in regular bank accounts under their real names.
I don’t know if McCarthy is really that naive, or is just pretending for the peasants back home, that he wants to find out the truth.
