“speaking German today if not for us and the Soviets”
That’s false.
1. The worse case scenario would be that the UK signs an armistice giving Germany the continent. The UK won the battle of Britain standing alone (with the rest of the substantial British empire) vs the Germans
2. The Soviets were German allies in 1939-1941. Without Russian oil the germans would not have been able to conquer France. And the Soviets were able to fight purely due to American weapons supplies
There you go again!
I hate to burst your bubble, but it's you spinning the facts with your one-off and highly "selective events" out of context with the overall war.
Both of your examples were either before the war began or in the very early stages of the war.
You may not know this, but the war lasted from 1939 to 1945. And Germany was successfully on a roll throughout all of Europe, including against Britain, for most of that time. That changed with Dunkirk in 1944 and in Russia with the Battle of Moscow and Stalingrad. The Russians lost 26 million in that war but continued on to Berlin, where it all ended thanks in great part to their effort and that of the US.
To say that Britain and most of Europe were winning or would not have continued to be trampled without intervention shows your ignorance or warped view -- or both.
You are entitled to your own opinion, as slanted as it is, but not your own facts.
Britain was on the decline going into WWII, and they continue to disintegrate and self-destruct along with Europe, to this day -- like the rest of the anglosphere.
