China has acted as a backdoor for Russia to conduct business and obtain much-needed technology to continue its invasion in Ukraine, thereby bypassing Western sanctions, according to a new intelligence report.

The eight-page report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence on "Support Provided by the People’s Republic of China to Russia" found that Beijing has "become an even more critical economic partner for Russia" since the invasion started.
Most notably, the report claims that "Beijing has also significantly increased the use of its currency … and its financial infrastructure in commercial interactions with Russia," which has allowed Russian entities to conduct business as usual without fear of Western interference.

Lots of evidence - not even trying to hide it - that China is buying up all of Russia’s gas and oil that isn’t going to nations keeping the sanctions. Also that China is providing incredible amounts of body armor, drones, and ammunition to Russia.
It is what it is - China is in this for China. They see an opportunity to get relatively cheap energy (and they don’t give a rip about climate accords or all the other Global Warming BS - except to push for the US to abide, while China will not).
If at any point China feels that it would be more profitable financially or in world power to cut off support of Russia - they will.
Interesting, this shows that "Intelligence" reporters will report good news.
Imagine that? Not doing what Biden / Blinken / Nuland wants you to do? Who would ever have thought....
You would almost think by the way China is treating the sanctions of the West that China was its own nation and a superpower at that.
