Wichita Falls, Texas, June of 1980 the temperature stayed above 100 degrees for a month. The highs were records also. People have short memories and use recent data to support their “hypothesis” or “facts”.

It was more than 30 days. June 23 to August 11 and August 13 to August 28. A few more after that into September. High was 117 on June 28.

1980 was a very hot summer.

My grand dad told me about the summer of 1935. A/C was not available then. I asked him how they got through the summer and he told me that they just made do.
