Quiet Village is a pretty song by "Exotica" composer Martin Denny, released on his 1959 album (of that name) in 1959.

The version linked here was arranged by Henry Mancini and performed by his orchestra.

I was thinking the same thing. Nice calming music was Quiet Village. Still got my album of it from way WAY back then.
