How is a dog any match for a horse?!!!

I can see maybe a young foal, but a grown horse?

Sounds like the horse maybe been neglected? Desperate dog attacking also weak horse?

I saw my friend’s pit bull/McNab cross take down a bull. It’s rare but there are some bad a** animals out there.

When it comes to dogs, most horses are pussies. A donkey will make short work of a dog.

From the photos it is smaller than a full size horse.

In the News/Activism forum, on a thread titled Neighbors watched a horse killed in slow motion. Now they want the owner, and Sonoma County Animal Services, held accountable, fwdude wrote:

I recall reading an account of a pit bull killing a full sized horse. The horse was penned in a sufficiently narrow paddock that the dog could attack the horse's legs, the horse would run to one end of the paddock with the dog following. As the horse reached the end, the dog attacked the legs again and the horse wheeled and ran the short distance to the other end. This continued with the dog wagging his tail and enjoying the sport and the horse collecting wounds on its legs, becoming exhausted and going into shock. Once down, the pit grabbed the neck and the horse couldn't rise with the weight of the dog on him, and the shock/blood loss.
