Thanks for posting this memory jogger on the 4th anniversary of the ‘perfect phone call’.
And yes, the ‘deep state’ knew then that the Biden’s were guilty.
Totally agree. Trump was pretty weak against the Dems overall (even letting Nancy tear up the SOTU on live TV without having federal marshals waiting for her afterwards), but the Dems were all in about the protecting their boy, who they knew was completely corrupt but enormously powerful in the Dem party.
So Trump even touching this freaked them out. This was his duty as President. A US President should keep his eye on things like this and it was a sensitive situation that shouldn’t have been handed off…and the call was perfectly legitimate and probably one of the most accurate calls he made. (Or that his “advisers” allowed him to make.)
