Her “claim to fame” is she’s an ex news reader on a local NBC affiliate that divorced her sportscaster husband on the same station and immediately took up with the weatherman on the same channel....with children getting caught up in the middle of all that.
As far as the Confederate statue, she can set aside all the money she wants, it’s up to the city council just like it was during the last mayoral administration......they didn’t decide it then and I don’t see that changing.

That is a hilarious story. Her daddy was a mayor of Jax and long time power broker here. That surely helped her win this time around.
He divorced her after she was caught screwing the weather guy. They didn’t even have the decency to go somewhere else to do it. They were caught in flagrante porking in his van in the parking lot.
The whole city knew about it.
I live here too, she’s got two huge political issues to deal that could destroy her.
The Sheriff wants a big increase in funding for a bunch of new officers and Jaguars want a billion dollars for basically a new stadium
The police union has a lot of power and the Sheriff is a black conservative Republican who probably has a negative opinion of her
Shad Kahn is exceptionally smart and she’s no match for him in terms of business and negotiations
She can’t politically afford to screw up either issue
