“Last month my sister was standing in a grocery line behind a person who presented a check to the young cashier. He had to call a supervisor for help because he had never seen a check before and did not know what to do with it.”
Used to pay by check at a liquor store. Check was on my “vice” account used it for things like booze and other stuff so I could keep track of that kind of spending.
Anyway store would get a new employee and I was usually the fist to pay by check for the new hire so they had to call the supervisor. I got to be on a first name basis with the supervisor.
